It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wyndi S. McDonald, a devoted mother and grandmother, cherished sister, beloved partner, and treasured friend. Born on October 3rd, 1969, in Zanesville, Ohio, Wyndi left this world peacefully on July 23rd, 2026, at the age of 56. She resided in Newark, Ohio, where she touched the lives of many with her warmth and kindness.
Wyndi was a dedicated expert Medical Biller, known for her commitment and diligence in her profession. Beyond her work, she found joy in traveling, frequenting the beach, and embracing her love for Cincinnati Reds baseball. Wyndi's talents extended to shopping, gardening, and cooking, all of which she enjoyed sharing with her family and friends. Her life was a testament to her passion for helping others, especially in her heartfelt role as a mentor to many facing the challenges of addiction.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Courtney McDonald and Tienna Wallace; her sister, Kim (Bill) Koren; her significant other, Jim; and her grandchildren, Chris, Connor, Carson, and Emma. Wyndi's legacy of love also extends to her two nieces, Chloe and Sophie; step-son, Zakk; as well as her many friends who were like family to her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Sue (Bell) Ault, whom she dearly missed.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service in Newark, OH. The service is open to all who wish to honor and remember Wyndi's remarkable life and the joy she brought to others.
