William W. Williams, age 70, of Newark, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Licking Memorial Hospital.William was born September 16, 1943 in Athens, Ohio to the late Clarence E. and Nola (Locke) Williams.William was a veteran of the United States Navy and had been employed as a tire mechanic. He was an avid sports fan and was a very giving person who enjoyed helping others.He is survived by a daughter, Helen (Doug) Wright; grandchildren, Wesley Williams, Douglas Wright, Jr., Nicholas Wright,Austin Wright and Zaine Wright; a great grandchild, Anna Marie Williams; andnieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and Lindley Williams.A graveside inurnment service will take place at a later date at Cedar Hill Cemetery.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for the Williams family.
