William Dale Gleckler, age 80, of Nashport, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Dale was born January 4, 1946 in Newark, Ohio to the late Frederick William and Alice Pearl (Stotts) Gleckler.

Dale enjoyed tinkering and building things and was known to be someone who could fix anything. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and his dogs.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Lynne Ann (Elder) Gleckler, whom he married July 23, 1984; four children, Justin Phillips, Will Gleckler, Kristi (Dave) Earl, and Winter Gleckler; four grandchildren, Caitlin, Callie, Briar, and Vail; a great-grandchild, Bentley; and special friend, John Mick.

The family will observe a celebration of Dale’s life at a later date.
