William L. Dansby

William L. Dansby, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home on October 1, 2026, at the age of 72.

William was a proud veteran who served his country. He was a man of honor, strength, and character who was deeply loved by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

William was a man who cherished his family and the time he spent with them. He enjoyed watching sports, playing his guitar, and riding motorcycles. Whether sharing stories, enjoying a game, listening to music, or simply spending time with the people he loved, William created memories that his family will carry with them for years to come.

William was preceded in death by his mother, Eissie Dansby; his beloved grandson, Jayce Dansby; and several brothers and sisters.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sons, William Dansby Jr, Ulysius Dansby and Shane (Tiffany) Dansby, his brothers and sisters; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many family members and friends who loved him dearly.

A celebration of William’s life will be held at a later date. Details will be announced when arrangements have been finalized.

Rest peacefully, Dad. You were loved, you will be deeply missed, and your memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved you.
