Wanda Justine Skaggs, 83, of Glenford, Ohio, passed away on Friday, December 26th, 2025, in Newark. Ohio. She was born on June 17, 1942, in Lancaster, Ohio, to the late Robert Lewis and Mildred Jewel (Wheaton) Hannan.
Wanda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Samuel Skaggs; brother, Tom Hannan and grandchild, Casey Tysinger.
Her family was the joy of her life. She is survived by her children, Darla (Teddy Eppley) Tysinger, Randy (Dorothy) Skaggs, Tina (Mike) Helser, Cindy (Jim) Orr, and Lisa (Charles) LaRue; grandchildren, Tiffany (Justin Nutter) LaRue, Charles (Crystal) LaRue, Jr., Chris (Reva) Welch, Grant Welch, Skyla Skaggs, Samuel Skaggs, Sophia Skaggs, Sandra (Robert) Stewart, Michael (Ellen) Helser, Jr., Brian (Kacie) Orr, and Sara (Tyler) McCoy, 22 great-grandchildren, and her cousin, Donald (Delsie) Henderson.
Wanda was a dedicated homemaker, known for her boundless love and support for her family. Her shared passion for '57 Chevy cars with her husband, led them to participate in many car shows, proudly bringing home trophies. She found delight in watching ice skating and was well known by those who knew her, for her love of McDonald's sausage gravy. She was a teacher in Bible Schools, where she enriched the lives of many with her kindness and wisdom.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 1:00pm in the Olivet Cemetery, Thornville, Ohio.

Wanda will be dearly missed, but her memory will linger in the hearts of all who knew her. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel; may she rest in eternal peace.
