Walter Binckley

Walter Guy Binckley, age 88 of Thornville, Ohio, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at the Selma Markowitz Care Center, Newark, with his family by his side.He was born February 4, 1927, in Thorn Twp., Ohio to the late Luther and Elise (Skinner) Binckley. He loved farming and he had built their home. Walter served honorably in the U.S. Army during WWII. He worked as a supervisor at Owens Corning.Walter is survived by his son, Steven (Dawn) Binckley and daughter Tina Smith, 5 grandchildren and two great-granddaughters and sister Mary Crossin.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Marian Binckley on March 20, 2015, brothers Charles and Kermit Binckley, sisters Evelyn, Marie, Lula and Goldie.There was a private graveside service for Walter at Zion Ridge Cemetery, Thornville.Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, Thornville Chapel, is honored to care for the Binckley family.
