Terrian Lynn Paxson

Terrian Lynn Paxson, a beloved resident of Newark, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 15th, 2025. Born on August 24th, 1954, in Zanesville, Ohio, Terrian was just shy of celebrating their 71st birthday.

Terrian was the cherished life partner of Diana P. Colburn and a treasured member of a loving family. Survived by siblings Cheryl (Delbert) Moody, Orville G. (Martha) Paxson, Tia Slack, and Kenneth D. (Lisa) Paxson. Terrian was also a respected and nurturing influence in the lives of Diana's children, Gretchen (Michael) Simonski and Michael D. Colburn, and leaves behind a legacy of numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Terrian was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Juanita Paxson. The values instilled by beloved parents lived on through Terrian's passion for life and business, exemplified in her role as Owner and Operator of Annies Place Restaurant in Newark, OH, a community staple appreciated by many.

Terrian had a deep love for collecting coins, a hobby that reflected her appreciation for detail and history. As a community contributor, Terrian was known for enriching the lives of those around her and supporting causes dear to her heart. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association, envelopes for which will be available at the funeral home.

Family and friends are warmly invited to celebrate Terrian's life at a funeral service held at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, Newark, OH, on Tuesday, August 19th, 2025, at 1:00 PM. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park, Zanesville, OH, at 3:00 PM.
