Steven Charles Smith

A Celebration of Life Service for Steven Charles Smith, 59, of Newark, will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at The Newark Hub, 370 W. Church Street, Newark. Steven passed away on February 26, 2022 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on September 23, 1962 to Charles A. Smith and Donna Mae (Pridemore) Smith, who survives. Prior to retirement, Steven was a roofer for many years. He enjoyed fishing, running, playing the guitar and riding motorcycles. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, survivors include his children, Gary A. (Alaina) Smith, Shawn (Tashina Jenkins) Smith and Abrianna (Mark Rine) Smith; significant other, Tonya Burnheimer; grandchildren, Sapphire, Caleb, Jarrin, Trevian, Evelyn and Benjamin; and many friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, Therese Smith. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Steven to the family.
