Steve Dwayne Allen

Steve Dwayne Allen, 70, of Newark, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, December 7th, 2025. He was born on Thursday, January 20th, 1955, in Newark, Ohio, to the late Donald and Lena (Small) Allen.

Steve was a skilled fabricator and devoted his professional life to Owens Corning Fiberglas. In addition to his career, Steve found great joy in his hobbies and the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid fisherman and had a deep-rooted love for NASCAR and dirt track racing, the Muskingum County Speedway was his favorite track. He was also a fan of Ohio State Football.

Family was at the heart of everything Steve did. He cherished every moment spent with his loved ones, particularly his grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Steve is survived by his children, Shawn (Charity) Allen and Kimberly (Denzil Wetzel) Allen; sisters, Beverly Barton and Chris Michaelson; brothers, Russel (Malia) Allen, Samuel (Charlotte) Allen and Gary (Cindy) Allen; grandchildren, Joshua (Samantha Elliott) Oney and Jace (Adrianna Sirisukha) Oney; great-grandchild, Maxton Oney, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dianna (McClain) Allen and sisters, Evelyn Corder and Sharon Crouser.

Family and friends may gather on Friday, December 12, 2025, at the Hebron Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral Home, 108 N 7th Street, Hebron, Ohio, from 11:00am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00pm. Burial to follow in Newark Memorial Gardens.
