Shelda was a devoted homemaker, dedicating her time and love to her family. Her unwavering dedication to her husband of 61 years, Robert E. Guy, whom she married on March 6, 1965, was a testament to their enduring love and partnership. Together, they built a life filled with cherished memories.
Shelda is survived by her loving husband, Robert; her son and daughter-in-law, David and Lisa Guy; her daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and Sean Overbey, as well as a host of friends who became family. Her kindness, warmth, and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Preceding Shelda in death were her parents, Robert E. Lucas and Louella M. Lucas, and her brother, Charles Lucas. Though they are no longer with us, their spirits live on through the many stories and memories Shelda cherished.
Shelda was known for her devout faith and love for the Lord. She found joy and solace in reading the Bible and spending time in reflection. Among other passions, Shelda was a remarkable artist, often found drawing with a keen eye and gentle hand.
