Sharron Kay West

A graveside funeral service, celebrating the life of Sharron Kay West, 83, of Zanesville, will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Kirkersville Cemetery with Pastor Brian Harkness officiating. Sharron was born in Columbus, Ohio on October 10, 1940 to the late Robert and Miriam (Little) Harper. She passed away at Arlington Care Center in Newark on February 25, 2024. Sharron was a devoted homemaker to her family. She was a member of the Eagles Women’s Auxiliary #302 in Zanesville and the Button Club of Zanesville. She enjoyed antique collecting, gardening and was an avid animal lover. Survivors include her children, Scott R. Phillips, Robin West, Elizabeth (Mark) Marling and Douglas (Amy) West; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and many friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Warden “Buck” West. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Sharron to the American Cancer Society.
