Ruth Evelyn O'Connor

Ruth Evelyn O’Connor, 89, of Canal Winchester formerly of Thornville, died Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Altercare North in Newark. She was born November 6, 1932, in Columbus to the late Harold and Blanche (Bennett) Newton. Ruth attended Grace Lutheran Church and the Perry County Seniors group. She enjoyed having lunch with friends and loved watching birds. She enjoyed camping trips with her husband at the Ohio Power Reclamation Area. She is survived by her children, Sandra (Edward) Bosak, Shari Emery, and Dan (Pam) O’Connor; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel O’Connor; seven sisters; and one brother. Memorial contributions may be made in Ruth’s memory to the Thornville Lions Club, P.O. Box 555, Thornville, OH 43076 Visitation will be Thursday, November 10, 2022, from 11:00 am- 12:00pm the HOSKINSON Funeral home, Thornville, where the funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm.
