Ronald Lee Inman, age 78, of Hebron, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at his home. Ron was born June 10, 1947 in Newark, Ohio to the late Eddie and Mary Ellen (Osborn) Inman.
A proud veteran, Ron served his country with honor in the United States Army. He was a skilled mechanic and he was known far and wide as the man who could fix anything. His hands-on knowledge and practical wisdom were his gifts to those he loved the most.
Ron had a zest for life that was evident in his hobbies. An avid fisherman, he found immense peace in the calm waters of Ohio. His love for the thrill of the open road was fulfilled on his cherished Harley Davidson. And nothing delighted him more than a gripping pro wrestling match.
At home, Ron was adored for his deep affection for his four-legged companions, Teddy Bear and Allie. His household was one of laughter, learning, and love – filled with the sounds of family, whom he dearly cherished. Ron taught them his hobbies, passing on the torch of his legacy with every lesson.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lou Inman; daughter, Veronica Inman (Darby Smith); son, Waylon Inman; grandchildren, Nikolas Inman, Reymundo Perez, and Gloria Perez (Jonathan); brothers, Larry Inman and Jerry (Kathy) Inman; nieces and nephews; and special friend, Robert “Butch” Coleman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Inman, Jr.
Military Honors will be observed by the Licking County Veterans Alliance on Friday, November 7, at Noon at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newark.
Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service in Hebron is honored to care for Ron and his family.
