Rocky Michael Smith

Rocky Michael Smith, left us unexpectedly on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the age of 42. He was born on March 24, 1983, in Zanesville, Ohio.

Rocky was a dedicated ironworker for 15 years, proudly serving as a member of the Ironworkers Local 172.

He loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed building cars as a hobby and meeting up with his buddies at Cuzn'z Bar & Grill.

Rocky is survived by his parents, Tammy and Robert Smith; children, Rocky Dylan Smith, Hope Tritt, Faith Smith, Micheal Moore, Delilah Moore, and Cailynne Moore; granddaughter, Annaliese Rosa; siblings, Steven (Katie) Parr, Sherri (Brian) Cheney, and Aaron Wood; close friends, Cole Mascari and Emilee Sexton and his loyal companion, his dog Fireball, who was always by his side.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Kirkersville chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 E Main Street, Kirkersville, to celebrate Rocky's life on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm. The family would like to encourage everyone to come with a story to tell about Rocky.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.

Rocky's presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering kindness, reminding us all to cherish every moment.
