Robert Everett Lamp, Jr.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Everett Lamp Jr., who departed this life on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the age of 79 at his home in Thornville, Ohio. He was born in Newark, Ohio, on November 2, 1945, to the late Robert Everett Lamp Sr. and V. Elnora (Note) Lamp.

He graduated from Lakewood High School, Class of 1964. A 3rd generation custom home builder. Bob was deeply involved in numerous organizations and pursuits. He was an avid golfer and a lifetime member and served as President of the board at Harbor Hills Country Club. His commitment to the betterment of Thornville was evident during his tenure as Mayor. He enjoyed traveling and camping with family and friends. Bob enjoyed rebuilding his grandson Mason’s 1988 Chevrolet truck.

He is survived by his spouse, Diane (Billow) Lamp; his children, Brittney (Scott) Sprankle, Kevin Lewis, Keith Lewis, Kurt (Tiffany Clark) Lewis, and Amber Stephenson; his dear grandchildren, Mason and Pateyn Sprankle, Ian and Aaron Lewis, Jake Hoover, and Nicholas Stephenson. He also leaves behind his brothers, Tom Lamp and Dr. Mike (Pam) Lamp, as well as many nieces and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wives, Patricia M. Lamp and Nickola Lamp.

Bob's family would like to invite family and friends to gather in celebration of his remarkable life on May 31, 2025 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Harbor Hills Country Club, 225 Freeman Memorial Drive, Hebron, Ohio.
