Rebecca Ruth Moore

Rebecca Ruth “Becky” Moore, age 63, of Newark, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Select Specialty Hospital in Newark. Becky was born June 5, 1962 in Little Tucson, Arizona to the late Donald Scholl and the late JoAnn (McClain) Scholl Yaroch.

Becky enjoyed her job at Amazon as a picker and packer and was also a trainer. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching TV with her husband. She loved her dogs, Sadie and Little One.

She is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Robert Moore, whom she married April 19, 1980; two sons, Jon (Jill) Moore of New York and Brian (Olivia) Moore of Newark; grandchildren, Taylor, Noah, Ky, Henry, Lucas, and Emerson; great-granddaughter, Mia; mother-in-law, Barbara Moore of Newark; brother, Donald “Donny” (Kay) Scholl of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David Scholl; and her step-father, Harold Yaroch.
