Rebecca Faye Mesecher

Graveside Funeral Services, celebrating the life of Rebecca Faye Blanton Mesecher, 86, of Pataskala, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 17, 2018, in the Pataskala Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband George W Blanton.

She was born Jan 09, 1932, the daughter of the late Thornie S. and Malissa (Sammons) Daniel. She had worked as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor, and worked to obtain a Masters Degree, starting back to College at the age of 43, after the untimely death of her first husband.

She is survived by her loving family: daughter Barbara Blanton, sons Daniel (Lisa) Blanton, Richard (Kim) Blanton; her sisters Carol Sparks, Thornette Tillmann; her grandchildren Brandy (Mike) Molinet, Becki Klema, Samantha (Dustin) Herb, Brooke (Sam) Schultz , Jeremy (Danielle) Clevenger; and her 15 great-grandchildren, and Avery, her great-great grandson, and many neces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George W Blanton, her brother Tom and Larry Daniel and her sister Lena Marie Fugitt
