Polly was born February 10, 1944 in Newark, Ohio to the late Paul Foreman and the late Eileen (Kelley) Foreman Hollis. She passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Mount Carmel-St. Ann’s Hospital in Columbus.
Polly spent her life touching the lives of everyone she met with her warmth, kindness, and unyielding spirit. A devoted homemaker, Polly dedicated her life to nurturing her family and creating a home filled with love and laughter. She had a passion for gardening and possessed a knack for cards and other games, pastimes she enjoyed immensely with her dear family and friends. Polly was a woman of profound faith and conviction. As a member of the Second Church of Christ in Newark, she was actively involved in her community, always ready to lend a helping hand. Her sense of humor, coupled with her empathetic heart, made her a friend to all and a beacon of light to those fortunate enough to know her. She fought fiercely for her beliefs, her family, and her friends, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone she encountered.
Polly's legacy of love and laughter lives on in her surviving family which includes her four children, Elizabeth “Beth” Bline of Newark, Laura (Mark) Young of Cadiz, Kentucky, Bill (Lily) Hollar of Newark, and Mindy (Jamy) Mitchell of Evergreen, Colorado; grandchildren, Wyatt, Will, and Rachael Bline, Rodney Clark, George (Heather) Stokes, Christopher Stokes, Seth (Kristen) Clark, Kyle Clark, Elizabeth King, David (Cheyenne) Ball, Raven (Bobby) Bartimus, Hayden Hollar, Hayley Hollar, Hannah Mitchell, and Trent Mitchell; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Burchard of Iowa and Faith Mitchell of Newark; brother, Paul Foreman, Jr. of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
