Phyllis A. Kerns, age 66, of Newark, passed away at Licking Memorial Hospital on October 9, 2016. She was born in Athens, Ohio on November 3, 1949 to the late Marvin and Goldie Brown.Phyllis was a member of the Ancient Order of Druids in Newark. She enjoyed puzzles, playing games on her computer and spending time with her family and friends.Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years, David C. Kerns; children, Kathy (Brad) Prince, Rob Kerns, Timmy Kerns and David Kerns; grandchildren, Patrick, Courtnee, Amber and Jordan; siblings, Gary (Pat) Brown, Bob (Linda) Brown and Marvella Brown; and numerous friends.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Phyllis and the Kerns family.
