Phillip David Black, age 73, of Newark, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at the Laurels of Heath. Phillip was born April 30, 1947 in Lima, Ohio to the late James and Mary (Philpat) Black.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Belinda Mae (Harris) Black, whom he married September 21, 1985; sons, Jason (Laura) Black, Philip Black and Jeremy Black; step-son, Shawn Richard Meckley; several grandchildren and step-grandchildren; two sisters, Kathy and Beth; nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael.
