**Obituary for Peggy Sue Patterson**

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Peggy Sue Patterson, who departed this life peacefully on Friday, April 3rd, 2026, at the age of 67. A beloved resident of Newark, Ohio, Peggy was born on Monday, May 12th, 1958, in Zanesville, Ohio, to the late Paul and Carolyn Dobbins.

Peggy was a devoted and compassionate healthcare worker whose career spanned many years. Her unwavering dedication to caregiving left a lasting impression on both her colleagues and those under her care. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her professional life into her personal world, where she found immense joy in gardening, reading, and dancing.

Surrounded by a large and loving family, Peggy cherished her time spent with her significant other, Kurt Howard, and enjoyed the company of her siblings, William E. Dobbins, Carolyn "Jean" Dobbins, Paula Dobbins, Marilyn Dobbins, Paul David Dobbins, and Samuel Dobbins; her children, David (Roxanne) Dobbins and Chad (Carley) Parson; Peggy was also surrounded by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a vast circle of friends whom she considered family.

Preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Carolyn Dobbins, Peggy's legacy of kindness and warmth continues to thrive through those who survive her. Her passion for life and her ability to uplift the spirits of those around her will be fondly remembered and profoundly missed.
