It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paula D. Wolf, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Paula passed away peacefully in Newark, Ohio, where she was born on January 9th, 1953, and where she spent a lifetime full of love, giving, and laughter. She left this world on Sunday, September 6th, 2026, at the age of 73.

Paula is survived by her devoted husband of 30 years, Jeffrey S. Wolf. Paula and Jeff were happily married on September 8, 1996, marking a union filled with love and cherished memories. Her spirit and legacy continue to live on through her children, Joey (Ruth) Wahl, Ryan (Lindsay) Wahl, and Gwynne Wolf; as well as her adored grandchildren, Kolsen and Kashlyn Wahl, who brought her immense joy. Her siblings, Karen (Joseph) Kennedy, Mike (Debbie) Stotler, and Beverly (Todd) Baker, will forever hold her dear in their hearts.

A dedicated and caring individual, Paula spent many years as a Medical Billing Specialist at the Bloomberg Eye Center and loved working at the Newark Public Library, where she made many friendships. She was not only an employee but a beloved colleague who will be sorely missed.

Paula’s life was a tapestry of hobbies and interests that brought her joy and allowed her to spread happiness to those around her. She found peace in the rhythmic hum of knitting needles, and the careful assembly of scrapbooks. An avid antique collector, she also enjoyed visiting Amish country, seeking treasures in antique shops, and capturing memories with every new purse she acquired. Chirstmas was her favorite time of year. She loved the magic of Chirstmas, and of course, her beloved Santa collection. Paula was also a talented musician, delighting in playing the piano and organ, and was known for her spirited games of Scrabble. Her love for the beach and the tranquil moments she spent there will be fondly remembered by those who shared those special times with her. Above all, she cherished her family, finding her greatest joy in the presence of her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Stotler, Jr., and Betty Stotler, whose love and guidance helped shape the remarkable woman she became.

A Celebration of Paula’s Life will be held at the Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home in Newark on Saturday, September 12th, 2026, at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery.

Friends and family are invited to gather for a visitation at the funeral home on Friday, September 11th, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at 179 Granville Street, Newark, OH.

The family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in Paula's memory to the Licking County Humane Society or Hospice of Central Ohio, to continue the legacy of love and compassion that she so fervently embodied. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
