Paul Philip Lonsinger

Paul Philip Lonsinger (65), of Utica passed away on Sunday November 6, 2022, at Country Lane Gardens in Thornville, Ohio. Paul was the son of late Charles L. and Mary Jane (Crow) Lonsinger of Utica, Ohio. He was a graduate of Utica High School in 1975. Paul earned an undergraduate degree from Ohio State University, a master’s degree from the University of Denver. Paul accepted a job as a social worker in Sheridan, Wyoming in the local hospital. Paul was a kind soul known for his keen sense of humor and love for life. Paul made friends wherever he went, and never met a stranger. Paul’s love of the West drew him to spend most of his adult life in Colorado and Wyoming. In his final years, he longed to return to his favorite retreat in Story, Wyoming. Paul is preceded in death by brothers, Mark D. of Charleston WV., and David L. of Tampa, FL. He is survived by Karen (Purdy) Lonsinger, Nephews: Michael D. (Jocelyn), Matthew D. (Teresa) and Daniel Lonsinger, and great nephews: Devin C., William M. and Mark Davis Lonsinger, all of Charleston, WV. As per Paul’s request, in lieu of a service, he asked that those who knew him raise a glass, remember the great times. With a smile... he will be greatly missed. May He Rest in Peace
