Paul D. Daniels

A funeral service celebrating the life of Paul D. Daniels, age 90, of Newark, will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 5, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street in Newark.

Paul was born November 26, 1935 in Belpre, Ohio to the late Gerald T. Daniels, Sr. and the late Bernice (Waderker) Daniels. He passed away on his birthday, November 26, 2025 at his home.

Paul retired from Rockwell International where he worked in production. Following his retirement, he worked as a custodian for Park National Bank until his retirement. An avid golfer, Paul absolutely loved watching Tiger Woods play. He enjoyed playing cards, especially Texas Hold’em and Tunk, and was an OSU football fan. He was a member of the Eagles, the Moose, and the VFW.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Margaret B. Allen; sons, Frank Allen, Jr. (Danielle) and Christopher Allen, all of Newark; daughters, Marie White and Margaret Kirby (Michael), all of Newark; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Edna M. Daniels of Zanesville; nephews, Gregg A. Daniels and Gerald T. Daniels III; and nieces, Debra S. Cromwell and Karen Kurry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald T. “Junie” Daniels, Jr. and Harold Daniels.
