Patty Sue Harris

A celebration of Patty’s life will be held on January 24, 2026, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Impact City Church, 8577 Watkins Rd. SW, Pataskala, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Buckeye Lake Humane Society. Patty Sue Harris, 71, of Hebron, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on Monday, November 1, 1954, in Newark, Ohio, to the late Nina (Thacker) and Lawrence Gleckler.

Patty was truly an amazing and deeply cherished mother and grandmother, whose greatest joy was found in caring for others. Her loving heart knew no bounds; she gave endlessly and without reservation to her family and friends, and even extended her profound generosity and kindness to strangers.

She is survived by her children, Anna Layton, Jonathan (Kathleen) Dearman, and Daniel (Angela) Harris, as well as her daughter-in-law, Amanda Dearman; grandchildren, Austin (Amber) Dearman, Triston (Marissa) Landrum, Macey Dearman, Randall Dearman, Giavanna Layton, Khloe Dearman, Beryl (Camden) Walters IV, and Trevor Walters; great-grandchildren, Trinity Atkinson-Smith, Beryl Walters V, and Grayson Walters; siblings, Lawrence (Kim) Gleckler, Bonnie (Stan) Mansfield, Nina (Randy) Potter, and Lisa (Mike) Parsley, along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Miles Dearman, and her sister, Mary Gleckler.
