Patricia Ann Zinck

May 5, 1936 — September 25, 2025

Newark

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Zinck, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Born on May 5th, 1936, in Tiffin, Ohio, Patricia lived a life rich in love and full of unforgettable experiences, and she passed away peacefully on September 25th, 2025, in Newark, Ohio.

Patricia was a dedicated homemaker whose love and devotion to her family were paramount. Her family was the center of her universe, and she took immense pride in her role. She cherished every moment spent with her loving daughter, Lisa, and son-in-law, Carl DeLong, as well as her grandchildren, April and Wade Barber. Her eyes twinkled brightest when surrounded by her great-grandchildren, Dylan (Alyssa) Adkins, Markayla Holloway, Kaleigha Holloway, and Amora Benford.

Patricia's life was marked by her passions and interests. An avid collector of antique dolls, she found joy in the stories each piece held. Her love for animals was unwavering, and she spent many happy hours watching QVC, attending auctions, and antiquing. Patricia shared her life with her cherished dog, Tiny, whose companionship brought her immense joy. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the love of her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, her precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her brother John (Donna) Fulton, and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Patricia joins those who preceded her in death: her parents, Nelson and Gladys Fulton; her stepmother, Lillian Fulton; her first husband, Harold D. Barber; her second husband, Robert Zinck; her beloved son, Mark Barber; her brother, Michael Fulton; and her sister, Mary Florence Fulton.

A Celebration of Life service to honor Patricia will be held on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, located at 179 Granville Street, Newark, OH.
