Pamela Raye “Pam” Shorder, age 80, of Newark, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2026 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center (operated by Hospice of Central Ohio).

Pam was born on December 23, 1945 in Akron, Ohio to the late Clarence Lee Landerth and the late Nancy Lee (Poteet) Landerth Cox.

Pam enjoyed gardening, especially tending to her flowers, and was an avid reader, enjoying mysteries and reading historical novels. She was most proud to be a Nana to many and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving family members. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Eric John Shorder.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio.

The family will observe a private celebration of Pam's life.
