On the morning of August 8, 2026, Paige Ann McMahon (Williams), 72, of Newark, Ohio passed away peacefully at her home in the arms of her devoted husband, Michael McMahon. Despite her brave, valiant, and unceasing positivity that she showed during her cancer battle, her body could endure no more, and she transitioned out of this life.

Paige Ann McMahon (Williams) was born on Sunday, January 13, 1954, in Licking County, Ohio to her father Richard Williams and his wife, the late Twila Williams (Wright). Paige graduated from Licking Valley High School in 1973, where she not only played the flute in the marching band, but she was a varsity star athlete for both the volleyball and basketball teams. After graduating from high school, Paige would go on to earn her associates degree in criminology from Muskingum Technical College.

For twenty-four years, Paige worked as an outside sales representative for Communicolor, however, she would retire from Jeld-Wen after fourteen years as their HR representative. Paige is fondly remembered by her bosses and coworkers for her work ethic, kindness, and commitment to others.

Paige is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Michael Allen McMahon, whom she married on May 16, 1980. From the first time Mike laid eyes on Paige, it was as though he had never had a real conversation, and the first time they kissed, it was as though he had never kissed anyone before. Mike feels so very blessed to have had the last 46 years of the most beautiful moments with the love of his life.

Paige is also survived by her father, Richard Williams; her younger brother, Richard Kim (Victoria) Williams; two sons, Jeremy (Vicky) Zahrndt, and Christopher (Christina) McMahon.

Paige will be deeply missed by her five grandchildren Zach Arias, Drew (Meghan) Arias, Dylan Arias, Kingston McMahon, and Reni Zahrndt. Paige had a stern, but gentle guidance that helped to keep not only her two sons, but also her five grandchildren grounded. She loved all her grandchildren equally, and to them she was their safe space, their source of comfort and love, and her legacy will forever endure through them.

Right before her passing, Paige was elated to hear the news that she and Mike were going to be great-grandparents. In that moment, a smile that often brought Mike to his knees, a smile that seemed to fade as the cancer was taking hold, was suddenly brought back to her beautiful face and a peace washed over her.

Her devotion to her grandkids was never more evident as she continued to never miss a soccer match, a football game, or a track meet. She never complained about her pain, but continued to show up for her grandkids and for those that she loved.

In addition to her mother, Twila, Paige was preceded in death by her grandparents Clyde and Audrey Wright.

Paige lived a life marked by compassion, strength, and deep devotion to her husband, her grandkids, her family and her friends. She touched the lives of everyone who had the honor of knowing her and her selflessness, warmth, and generous spirit will be remembered forever in the legacy of her grandchildren and their families.

Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories, and we will honor Paige’s life on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, 179 Granville St, Newark, Ohio, with Pastor Cory Campbell officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, two hours prior to the funeral service, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Newark Memorial Gardens.
