Norval Wayne Busing

Norval "Wayne" Busing, 78, of Pataskala, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, March 26, 2023 in Columbus. He was born August 17, 1944 in Nebraska. He served honorably in the US Air Force. He was employed by the American Electric Power Co., working in station design.

A man of faith, He was an avid reader and lover of nature. He also enjoyed woodworking, photography, watercolors, bicycling and bird watching.

He is survived by his wife Muriel (Esveld) Busing, whom he married on May 27, 1978.

Wayne was one of 11 siblings, of which five brothers and three sisters remain, along with many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Honoring Wayne's wishes he will be cremated, and his created remains taken to his beloved Lake Michigan, where he enjoyed spending time and was looking forward to retirement there.

A memorial visitation and service of memory will be heldFriday, April 21, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 E Main St. in Kirkersville, where a memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m.
