Norma Jean Park, 90, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 25, 2025, at the age of 90 in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born on March 22, 1935, in Logan, Ohio, to the late Paul and Waneda (Wyckoff) Connel.Jean was a member of several organizations, including the VFW Auxiliary #8794-Whitehall and the Corsairs Drill Team. She had a passion for bowling and was a member of the Amateurs Pro Bowlers Association. Those who knew Jean also remember her love for line dancing.
She is survived by her children, William (Susan) Park, Wyatt (Tawnja) Park, Donald (Diana) Park, Richard (Sara) Park, Debbie Park, and Joanie (Phillip) Park Butler, 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, sister, Connie Pratt, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Donald Park.
A special "thank you" for the wonderful care from her friends and family at StoryPoint Gahanna.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 5133 Walnut Rd., Buckeye Lake, Ohio, from 10:00am until the time of funeral mass at 12:00pm. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family extends an invite to the luncheon at the church following mass.
In memory of Jean, donations may be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Buckeye Lake, or Suncrest Hospice.
