**Obituary for Nora Lee Gutridge**

Thornville, Ohio – Nora Lee Gutridge, a cherished member of the Thornville community, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on August 15th, 1930, in her beloved hometown of Thornville, Nora lived a life rich in family, love, and service to others.

Nora was the devoted daughter of the late Harry and Mary Eolyn Cooper. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gail Richard Gutridge, who departed this world on November 17, 1998, leaving behind a legacy of love and companionship that endured through the years.

Nora attended Thornville High School, where she laid the groundwork for a life marked by kindness and an unwavering work ethic. She found her professional calling as a sales clerk, where she extended her warmth and generosity to all who crossed her path.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Nora was a pillar of strength and comfort to her family and community. She took immense joy in walking through every corner of Thornville, soaking in the beauty of the town she called home. With an artist's heart and a loving spirit, Nora crafted quilts for her children and grandchildren, each stitch a testament to her affection.

Nora was happiest when surrounded by her family, whether doting on her great-grandchildren or sharing laughter at family gatherings. Her legacy lives on through her children: Sue (Gary) Wynberg, Sherri (Paul) Flautt, Richard (Cheryl Johnson) Gutridge, Sandra (Ron) Stoner, and Rodney (Christy) Gutridge. She also leaves behind cherished memories in the hearts of her grandchildren: Joe (Laurie) Hupp, Tom (Mendra) Hupp, Amy (Jerry) Stoll, Nicole (Dave) Hodge, Andrew (Crystal) Flautt, Katie, Chris, and Charlee Gutridge. Her love and wisdom continue to guide her eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Nora is also survived by her dear sister-in-law, Virginia Gutridge, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a visitation held at Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Services in Thornville, OH, on Friday, May 30th, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A celebration of Nora's life will follow at 7:00 pm in the Funeral Chapel.

In honor of Nora’s generous spirit, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio, an organization that provided her with comfort and care.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, a fitting reflection of the legacy and dignity she bestowed upon all who knew her. Nora Lee Gutridge's memory will remain eternally etched in the hearts of her family, her friends, and the community she so loved.
