It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Nancy Mary Schneider, who departed this life on Wednesday, August 27th, 2025, at her home in Newark, Ohio. Born on November 15th, 1956, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Nancy was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew her.
Nancy is survived by her loving mother, Elaine M. (Wittkamp) Schneider, her devoted sisters, Debra Schneider and Linda (Glen) Schneider Schardine, and her caring brother, Donald Schneider. She also leaves behind numerous cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Frank Alfred Schneider, and her brother, Frank Schneider, Jr.
Despite facing challenges, Nancy lived her life with remarkable courage and spirit and embraced life with boundless enthusiasm and was known for her unwavering positivity and resilience.
Nancy had a passion for the Pittsburgh Steelers and loved cheering them on during game days. Some of her fondest memories were traveling with her parents and family to Coney Island in Cincinnati, holding a special place in her heart.
Friends and family are invited to gather and pay their respects during the visitation at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service in Newark, OH, on Tuesday, September 9th, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Additional visitation will take place at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, Cincinnati, OH, on Wednesday, September 10th, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
A Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated by Father Robert Goebel, will be held at 11:00 am at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, 3227 Church Street, Cincinnati, OH, on September 10th, 2025. Nancy will be laid to rest following the service at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
