It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nancy Ann Likovic, a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world peacefully on Wednesday, May 6th, 2026, at the Selma Markowitz Care Center in Newark, Ohio. Born on Saturday, April 6th, 1968, in Columbus, Ohio, Nancy was a beacon of love and compassion to all who knew her.

Nancy is survived by her cherished children, Gary (Molly) Likovic, Brandi (Brandon) Likovic, Sterlyn Likovic, Neveah Likovic, Lily Likovic, Gil Aviles, and Elijah Aviles. Her legacy of love continues in her beloved granddaughter, Oaklyn. Nancy is also survived by her dear sister, Patty (Frank) Boring, and her brothers, Roger (Jennifer) Barker, Rick Barker, Harold (Tina) Barker, and George Barker. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.

Preceded in death by her father, John Barker, her mother, Nancy Joan Barker, her husband, Gary J. Likovic, Sr., and a brother, Bob Barker. Nancy has now joined them in eternal rest.

Nancy dedicated her life to caring for others as a devoted foster parent, touching the lives of many children in need. Her nurturing spirit extended into her hobbies, where her creativity shone through as she lovingly crafted shirts and collectibles with her Cricut machine. She found joy in vacationing in the mountains, staying in cozy log cabins, and was a true music lover, particularly of Hall & Oates.

Her generous heart and unwavering dedication to helping others will remain an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Nancy's compassion and kindness have left an indelible mark on the hearts of her family and friends.

In honor of her loving spirit, donations in Nancy's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
