Michael E. Kimble, Sr.

A visitation, honoring the life of Michael E. Kimble, Sr., 68 of Zanesville, will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 179 Granville Street, Newark. Michael was born in Newark, Ohio on February 12, 1954 to the late Lewis and Wanda (Hoffer) Kimble. Michael passed away at his residence on December 21, 2022. Prior to retirement, Michael worked for Tectum Inc. for 22 years. He was a member of Linnville Community Church. He enjoyed working with his hands, tinkering around his house and working on his muscle cars. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be missed by everyone that knew him. Survivors include his children, Michael (Tonya) Kimble, Michele Shipley, Ron (Karen) Sillin and Charles (Jennifer) Sillin; grandchildren, Victoria Kimble, Canyon Shipley, Cameron Shipley, Corey Shipley and Shana Shipley; sisters, Debbie Moss and Mona Kimble; brothers, Tim Kimble, Sam (Grace) Kimble, Mark Kimble, Dave Kimble and Danny Kimble; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 20 years, Linda Kimble; sister, Margie “Bunny”; and a brother at birth.
