Michael Charles Garcia

A celebration of the life of Michael Charles Garcia, age 33, of Newark, will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 6, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, 179 Granville Street in Newark. The family will receive friends from 5:30-6:30 p.m. prior to the service.

Michael was born October 22, 1992 in Newark Ohio. He passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 2, 2026 at his home.

Michael enjoyed watching movies, rollerblading, fishing, anime, and playing video games.

He is survived by his son, Dominic Garcia; mother and step-father, Lori Ann and Keith Ankeney of Cape Coral, Florida; father, Brandon David Garcia of Newark; grandparents, Pamela Lewis of Newark and David and Maxine Garcia of Denver, Colorado; brother, Gabriel John Garcia of Nashport; sister, Gracie Demolet of Gahanna; step-brothers, Nathan Ankeney of Millersport, Dalton (Caroline) Ankeney of Newark, and Nick Demolet of Columbus; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
