Mary Josephine "Maryjo" Barr

A graveside funeral service, celebrating the life of Mary Josephine MaryJo Barr, 76, of Thornville, will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Cemetery in Glenford. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Thornville chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 56 S. Main Street, Thornville. MaryJo was born in Crooksville, Ohio on June 11, 1942 to the late Charles Edward Corbett and Josephine (Hammer) Jones. She passed away at the Pickering House in Lancaster on June 23, 2018. MaryJo was a devoted homemaker to her family. She enjoyed fishing, word search puzzles, sewing and knitting, but most important was the time she spent with her family and friends. Survivors include her children, Michael (Dayna) Patrick, Troy (Tia) Patrick, Jeffrey (Tina) Barr, Kathy (Rick) Skillman and Angela Gresh; sister, Helen Fulk; brother, Michael (Bonnie) Corbett; sister-in-law, Ruby Corbett; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse, Eugene Barr; brother, Edward Corbett; and sister, Charlene Wise.
