Mary Ann Writesel

Mary Ann Writesel, 81, of Thornville, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at her residence. She was born on July 9, 1932 in Columbus, daughter of the late Clifford and Phoebe (Cathell) Simcox. Mary was a graduate of South High School in Columbus. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She enjoyed camping and loved her pet dogs.She is survived by her loving family: husband, William E. Bill Writesel; children: William L. Bill Writesel, Jeanie Ann Writesel, and Tisha Marie Mayse; four granddaughters and four grandsons; her brother, Jimmy (Daisy) Simcox; as well as several nieces and nephews. A memorial celebration will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
