Margaret Ellen Cook, 93, of St. Lousiville, passed away at her residence on June 3, 2022. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 23, 1928 to the late William and Lillian (Barnhill) Bickel. Margaret graduated from South High School in Columbus and attended The Ohio State University. She was a devoted homemaker to her family. She worked at Easter Seals, and prior to retirement, she worked at Dawes Arboretum as a maintenance secretary for many years. Margaret was a member of Central Christian Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher and she enjoyed collecting pitchers, playing the piano, gardening and was an avid reader. Survivors include her children, Sandy (Joe) Wagner, Jenny (Kent) Cook Herreman and Toby (Deb) Cook; grandchildren, Alan Cook, Elizabeth Wagner and Ryan Cook; great grandson, A.J. Cook; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alan D. Cook; two infant sons; and a brother, Jack Bickel. At Margaret’s request, no services or visitation will be observed. Private burial will be held at Obetz Cemetery.
