Linda Sue Hoskinson

Linda Sue Hoskinson, 83, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 24, 2025, at the Selma Markowitz Care Center (operated by Hospice of Central Ohio).

Linda was born December 1, 1941, in Newark, Ohio to the late Allan H. and Martha E. Nethers (Karicofe). She retired from Earthworks Dental (Thomas Hiebel, DDS) in 2009 after 30 years of service.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, James, as well as her children, Dave Hoskinson (Kim) and Jamie Trisnoadi. She was immensely proud of her four grandchildren, Jenna (Neil Luketic), Kyle (Tori), Asia, and Austin (Makayla), and her nine great grandchildren, Noelle, Aurelia, Nolan, Carmine, Kyla, Dominic, Lucetta, Nijah, and Roman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James and Ralph Nethers, and her sister Barb York.

Linda loved going on beach vacations and cruising with her friends. She was a dedicated Buckeye fan. She was a faithful member of Christian Apostolic Church, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Linda was the most thoughtful, kind, elegant, and selfless person.

The family would like to give special thanks and appreciation to the caring staff at Licking Memorial Hospital and Hospice of Central Ohio.

The family will receive friends and family at Christian Apostolic Church, 22 North 23rd Street in Newark on Monday, December 1st (Linda’s Birthday), at 10:00 a.m. A Celebration of Life service is to follow at the Church starting at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Keith Sjostrand officiating.
