Luther Allen Stiffler

Luther Allen Stiffler, of Etna, Ohio, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026, at the age of 66. He was born on April 15, 1959, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Marion and Jessie (Day) Stiffler.

He is survived by his significant other, Dianna Metzger; son, Robert (Shannon) Stiffler; daughters, Jessica Dale, Amanda Stiffler, and Shanna (Johnny) Flores; grandchildren, Taylor (Adam Like) Moore, Thomas (Brooklynn) Dale, Tyler Dale, Natalie Flores, Nicholas Flores, and Gabe Stiffler; brothers, Wes (Kim) Stiffler and Richard (Theresa) Stiffler; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Leahigh; son-in-law, Andrew Dale; brothers-in-law, Don Metzger, Jr., Dane (Lorrie Morrow) Metzger, and Craig Kelling, as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He is also survived by his neighbors, who were a tremendous help to the family with the care of Luther, Randy Gieseck and Jeff Koloff.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Marion Stiffler and Raymond Roger Stiffler; sister, Deborah Stiffler; brothers-in-law, Dustin Metzger and David Metzger; and sister-in-law, Denise Metzger Kelling.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 12:00pm until the time of the funeral service at 1:00pm at the Kirkersville chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, 285 E. Main St., Kirkersville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Jersey Township Cemetery, Pataskala, Ohio.
