A funeral service celebrating the life of Lorrene Stone, age 65, of Jacksontown, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, at Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service in Hebron. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 108 North Seventh Street in Hebron.

Lorrene was born September 25, 1961 in Williamson, West Virginia to the late Curtis and Pearl (Damron) Spaulding. She passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at her home.

Lorrene was a 1979 graduate of Lakewood High School. She was employed at the Buckeye Lake Truck Stop for many years as a cashier and met many people along the way. In her spare time, she enjoyed Crocheting and making diamond art. Most important in her life was her family, especially her children, whom she treasured.

She is survived by four sons, Timothy “TJ” Lynch, Michael Booth, Stephen Stone, and Brett Romine (Brianna); sisters, Connie (John) Lynch, Jeanette Greer (Richard Booth), Cathy (Cecil Booth, and Susan Cozad (Aaron Bierlein); brother, Curtis Spaulding; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
