Lois Alice Browning

A graveside service celebrating the life of Lois Alice Browning, age 83, of Pataskala, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, at Pataskala Cemetery.

Lois was born April 7, 1942 in Amherstdale, West Virginia to the late Clyde Compton and the late Goldie (Ramsey) Compton Daniels. She passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Licking Memorial Hospital.

Lois was employed as a LPN at Children’s Hospital for 9 years. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting (and especially enjoyed making afghans), and was an avid OSU football fan.

She is survived by her son, Jonathan Clark Browning of Pataskala; a brother, Johnny (Sandra) Daniels of Frankfort, Kentucky; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clark Edward Browning; a son, Jeremy Edward Browning; and siblings, Troy Compton, Ken Compton, James “Roger” Compton, Barbara Burton, and Dennis Compton.
