Leslie Arthur "Les" Ross

Leslie Arthur “Les” Ross, age 73, of Thornville, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Fairfield Medical Center. Les was born April 8, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Harold and Virginia (Kelly) Ross.

Les was a veteran of the United States Army and faithfully served his country during the Vietnam Era. He retired from Independent Masonry where he had been a brick and block mason. Les was a life member of VFW #1388. He loved all sports and was an avid fan of the OSU Buckeyes. He enjoyed golfing and watching NASCAR. His grandbabies meant the world to him as did his furbabies, Dickie and Buddy, his dogs, and Bailey, his cat.

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Karen Sue (Meridith) Ross, whom he married June 28, 1986; sons, Tony Trower of Millersport and Tim “T.J.” Reiber (Charlotte Francis) of Newark; a daughter, Ronda Renee Ross; grandchildren, Kember Henry, Peyton Reiber and Kai Reiber; brother, Jack (Beverly) Ross of Pataskala; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Ross; and a sister, Rose Rogers.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9, at the Thornville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, 56 South Main Street in Thornville. Due to COVID-19 concerns, masks must be worn inside the funeral home. For your protection, a maximum of 35 guests will be allowed inside at one time. Please practice social distancing.
