Leah Kirstin Jasper

Leah Kirstin Jasper, loving mother of two boys, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from a short battle with Leukemia.

Leah was born June 4, 1990 in Lancaster, Ohio to Craig Steven and Annette Yvonne (Hall) Jasper. Leah was a 2008 graduate of Sheridan High School and Mid-East Career and Technology Center where she studied Cosmetology. She graduated in 2019 with honors from Sinclair Community College with a certificate in Social Work. Leah loved spending time with her family and friends. She especially loved her two boys, Aiden and Gatlin, who were her world. She was also a proud member of the Alumni Tapestry Program.

Leah is survived by her parents, Craig and Annette Jasper of Thornville; her sons, Aiden Murray and Gatlin Jasper of Thornville; sisters, Brittney (Jeremy) Ditto of North Carolina, and Amanda (Aaron) Hykes of Thornville; grandparents, James and Judith Hall of Thornville and grandmother, Cheritta Boso of Columbus; nieces, Samantha and Lillian; and nephew, Brenden.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Charles Boso; aunt, Teresa DeLong; and cousin, William “Billy” Crutcher.

Family and friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, October 4, at the Thornville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service.

A private gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate Leah’s life.
