June Loretta Helsel

June Loretta Helsel, age 88, of Thornville, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at her home. She was born June 22, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Herbert and Bernice (Gillan) Clark.

A homemaker, June enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Buckeye Lake Moose #2434 and loved spending time with her friends there.

She is survived by a daughter, Candy Cayton; sons, George (Tawana) Seberig and Mark (Carol) Seberig; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Lois Henry and Alice (Larry) McClowsky; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Helsel, on February 6, 2022; two daughters, June A. Seberig and Bernice Seberig; brothers, Herbert, Joseph, Ralph, and Jerry Clark; and a sister, Rose Henry.

Friends may call from 1-5 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, at the Thornville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, 56 South Main Street, Thornville, Ohio.
