Judy Lynn Riedmiller, age 74, of Galena, Ohio, peacefully passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born on May 11, 1952, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Gerald Eugene Cravens and Betty Jean (Cole) Cravens.
A devoted and beloved mother, Judy is survived by her children: Amy Willey and her husband Shane, Adam Riedmiller and his wife Sarah, and Amber Williams and her husband Mike. Judy's nurturing spirit lives on in her grandchildren: Taley, Jazmine, Donovan, Trenton, and Honor, and in the anticipation of welcoming her first great-grandchild. She is also survived by her treasured siblings: Pat Holladay, David Cravens and his wife Amber, and Tammy Cravens Lott, along with several cherished nieces.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Frederick F. "Zeke" Riedmiller, Jr., whom she married on November 6, 1971 and who passed away on September 27, 2025.
Judy's passion for gardening, both vegetables and flowers, reflected her nurturing personality. Judy was a proud member of the Garden Club and Wings.
Her creativity flourished in her hobbies, as she found joy in painting ceramics, making jewelry, and creating diamond art. Judy delighted in selling her beautiful creations at local craft shows. She cherished time spent visiting yard sales, craft shows, and hosted lively Tupperware parties. Judy found happiness in baking and cooking for family gatherings and reunions, events filled with love and laughter.
Judy's ability to connect with people and make them feel welcome was a treasured gift—she truly never knew a stranger. Her warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on everyone she met.
In her generous nature, Judy gave the gift of life to others by being an organ donor through Lifeline of Ohio.
Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service in Newark is honored to care for Judy and her family during this time of remembrance. A celebration of Judy's life, brimming with the joy and stories she so loved to share, will be held privately for her family.
In honor of Judy, the family requests that those who knew her take a moment to appreciate the beauty around them, just as she did every day of her life.
