Beloved mother, sister, and friend, Judith Ann “Judy” Bartlett Robinson, 83, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2025 at Altercare in Thornville, Ohio. Born in Brown, WV on July 14, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Jackson and Mary Ernestine Cunningham Bartlett. Judy was a proud graduate of Wallace High School, Class of 1959, and went on to build a long and successful career with the Bureau of Public Debt, retiring after 35 years of dedicated service. Judy loved life and found joy in traveling, flowers, and spending time outdoors. Judy had an adventurous spirit and a deep love for exploring new places, finding joy in every journey she took. Her passport was a map of memories; each stamp a testament to a life well-traveled and richly lived. She had a deep appreciation for music and dancing and was an avid fan of WVU Mountaineer football. Judy was a devoted member of Southside Baptist Church and held her faith close to her heart throughout her life. She is survived by her loving sons, Jarrod Robinson (wife Heidi) of Thornville, Ohio, and Darren Robinson of Ripley, WV; her sister, Linda Leach of Parkersburg, WV; sisters-in-law Sue Bartlett of Princeton, WV, and Diane Bartlett of Baltimore, MD; and several cherished nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clovis John Robinson; son, Brendon Charles Robinson; brothers, Arlan Clacy Bartlett and Edgar Warren Bartlett; sister, Violet Elaine Bartlett Wilmoth; and brother-in-law, Larry Leach. The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to the compassionate and dedicated staff at Altercare Thornville, where Judy spent her final days surrounded by warmth and care. Their unwavering love and support will always be remembered. The family also extends deep gratitude to Hospice of Central Ohio for their exceptional end-of-life care. Judy’s vibrant spirit, generous heart, and infectious love of life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
