John Harvey Wickham

A  funeral service celebrating the life of John Harvey Wickham, age 78, of Newark, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 27, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Robert Jeffers officiating. Burial will take place in Cedar Hill Cemetery where military honors will be observed by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.

Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, October 26, at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street in Newark.John was born February 3, 1947 in Newark, Ohio to the late Harold and Elizabeth (Martin) Wickham. He passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, October 20, 2025.

John proudly served as a Marine during the Vietnam war. He retired after more than 30 years of dedicated service at Owens Corning Fiberglass. John was a classic car enthusiast and enjoyed watching Westerns. He loved being outdoors to walk and visit with neighbors.

He is survived by two children, Brett (Cintrina) Wickham of South Carolina and Tiffany (Jeffrey) McKee of Frazeysburg; and grandchildren, Teagan, Ethan, and Madilyn Bell, and Kirsten, Acen, and Britain Wickham.
