Jerry G. Foor, age 83 of Pataskala passed away Wednesday May 20, 2026, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 25, 1942, in Columbus, Ohio the son of the late Lloyd W. and Martha E. (Oldfield) Foor.

He was a 1960 graduate of Watkins Memorial High School. Jerry was a dedicated Sheet Metal Worker of Local #24 for many years.

He was an Officer of the Ohio Quarter Horse Racing Association and a 4-H advisor for the Blue-Ribbon Club.

If not spending his weekend in Amish Country he’d be finding treasures at Auctions. Jerry enjoyed making his rounds on his buggy maintaining constant supervision of his families’ activities. He was an avid collector of pedal tractors, horse bits and anything antique-ish. Jerry loved his racehorses and later in life, draft horses. A friend to many, he never met a stranger and always had a joke up his sleeve.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his infant daughter, Heather Renee Foor; brothers Harold and Roger; sister, Geneva Poff; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dale and Martie Longstreth.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Donna D. (Longstreth) Foor whom he married on August 29, 1965;

son, Dale (Angie) Foor; grandchildren, Clay (Makenzie) Foor and Cole Foor; sister-in-law, Lisa (Mark Dubel) Burgess and many friends.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Hoskinson Funeral Home, 285 E. Main St, Kirkersville, Ohio 43033 where visitation will be held from 4-8 PM Tuesday, May 26, 2026, and one hour prior to services from 10-11 AM Wednesday.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and Central Ohio Hospice of Newark.
