Jay B. Baker

A graveside service honoring the life of Jay B. Baker, age 81, of Newark, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 25, 2025 at Rocky Fork Cemetery where Jay will be laid to rest next to his parents.

He was born September 5, 1943 in Newark, Ohio to the late Frank and Clarissa (Livingston) Baker. He passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at Newark Rehabilitation.

Jay was formerly employed as a concrete worker at B&B Cast Stone, a concrete statuary manufacturer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Baker; and a half sister, Alice Goodin.
